DCNR - Conservation ID

As a part of the changes for the 2018 license season, customers are now able to use their Conservation ID (CID) for their identifying information rather than their driver license. Also, if a customer does not yet have a CID and fall under the specific criteria for assignment, they will be assigned a CID at the end of the license sale which will be displayed on their license.

Step-by-step guide

  1. When selling a license, you may use either the CID or the driver license number for identifying information.
  2. If a customer does not yet have a CID, indicate they may find the CID on their license if assigned.

 

If users were not assigned a CID at the time of purchase, they may also sign up for one at https://game.dcnr.alabama.gov/CID.
