SOS Business Entity Copies

 

15 day policy

Customers have 15 days to download their documents from the Secretary of State's website after they purchase them. Notices will NOT be mailed. They must use this website to retrieve their certificate. After 15 days, documents must be repurchased.

Application Description & URL

Allows users to search and purchase business records on file with the Secretary of State's office.

The certified copies are a document with details about the document, state seal, and the Alabama Secretary of State's signature. Here's an example: Business Entity Copy Example

Payment/Refund Issues

No refunds allowed, unless the transaction was processed due to an application or technical error.  In such cases fill out of Refund Request form or have the customer email support@alabamainteractive.org

Result/Document Issues

Users are presented with the documents in the form of a PDF hyperlink on the Receipt Confirmation Page.  The user is also sent an email with a copy of their receipt and a link to download the documents. 

When documents are unavailable for purchase (i.e. no search results found), we can request the document here: http://arc-sos.state.al.us/cgi/aiupload.mbr/main. <-- (We are working on access to this site for call center agents.)

  • Fill out a Further Action Required form if you cannot access the site. Documents typically take 15-30 minutes to complete the transfer once submitted.

When documents are illegible/corrupt or the image could not be found, fill out a Further Action Required form or have the user email support@alabamainteractive.org.

SOS- Why is the business entity not pulling up after I search using the entity ID/name?

SOS - I purchased certified copies but never received them.
