ALEA- How do I purchase a vehicle crash report in Alabama?

Step-by-step guide

Follow these instructions to purchase a crash report.

Go to www.alea.gov
In the Citizen Information section, click, I Need To
Select Order a Vehicle Crash Report. (see screenshot)

Once on the site to purchase a vehicle crash report, complete these steps:
1. Agree to the above Federal Driver Privacy Protection Act statement on the page. (select the checkbox)
2. Enter your contact information, used in the event there is a problem with your order.
3. Enter the search criteria for your request (Driver's License, Driver's Name, or Crash Report Number).
4. Select the correct Crash Report from the list of search results.
5. Verify the information is correct before purchasing.
6. Enter your credit card information to complete the purchase.
7. Click the Printable Crash Report button at the top of the receipt confirmation page. This page is displayed after you enter your credit card information.
8. An email with a Confirmation Number and Crash Report Number (located on your receipt) will be sent to you and your purchased crash reports will be accessible for 7 days from date you first view the report.
