AREC - Frequent Issues
When a customer calls regarding their AREC License, determine if the customer is calling about one of the following:
- Pre-registration problems
- Logging into the AREC Menu
- Obtaining documents
- General questions about reciprocity
- Course listings
- Need copy of license
- Transfer License
- Changing Licensee information
If the customer is calling about any of the preceding issues, have them contact the Alabama Real Estate Commission directly at 334-242-5544.
Otherwise
If the customer is having trouble making a payment, or is receiving an error on the payment page, create a ticket and we will assist the customer.
Please obtain the following information for the ticket:
- Customer's name
- Last 4 of credit/debit card being used
- What AREC Service the user is attempting to use
- The error message that they are receiving.
