AREC - Frequent Issues

When a customer calls regarding their AREC License, determine if the customer is calling about one of the following:

  • Pre-registration problems
  • Logging into the AREC Menu
  • Obtaining documents
  • General questions about reciprocity
  • Course listings
  • Need copy of license
  • Transfer License
  • Changing Licensee information

If the customer is calling about any of the preceding issues, have them contact the Alabama Real Estate Commission directly at 334-242-5544.

Otherwise

If the customer is having trouble making a payment, or is receiving an error on the payment page, create a ticket and we will assist the customer.

Please obtain the following information for the ticket:

  • Customer's name
  • Last 4 of credit/debit card being used
  • What AREC Service the user is attempting to use
  • The error message that they are receiving.
