ALEA- Session Time-out issue

If the User is attempting to renew their boat registration, but after entering the registration number, last name, and date of birth, they receive an error stating "Your session timed out"

Step-by-step guide

Determine whether the users is using the Jefferson County website.

  1. If the user is using the Jefferson county website, or tagit.jccal.org, they will not be able to renew at that site.
  2. Direct the customer to www.outdooralabama.com
  3. Have them highlight over "Boating" from the top of the screen, then select "Boat Registration" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Here, the top line will read "Renew your boat registration online. Renew Here", have them click the link.
  5. This page will look very similar to them, but they will not experience the session issues, any longer.
  6. If this does not resolve their issue, please create a Further Information Required ticket, providing their name, phone number, email address, and AL registration number.
