APELS - Error stating: My Principle Engineer has not renewed.

After entering the Principle Engineer's information, the customer receives an error saying this engineer has not yet renew their license.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Determine whether the Principle Engineer has renewed their license.
    1. If not, have the customer get their Principle Engineer to renew their license, then return to the Certificate of Authorization application.
  2. If they believe the engineer has renewed already.
  3. Have the customer look at the table at the bottom of the screen and determine whether the "AL PLS License #" field is written in RED or BLACK.
    1. If it is written in RED, then their engineers has not yet renewed.
    2. If it is written in BLACK, then the customer misread the note above the table, the engineer has already renewed and they should be able to click "Continue" to proceed with the application.
  4. If the License is listed in RED but they still believe the license has been renewed, create a Further Information Required form, providing the Certificate of Authorization number, Principle Engineer's License Number, and customer's contact information; name, phone number and/or email address.
  5. We will contact the customer once we have looked into the situation.
