Problem
The customer is not sure when his current license expires or when the new licensing season begins.
Solution
Licenses are valid September 1 through August 31.
Licenses will expire on August 31 unless noted, such as a lifetime license.
Residency is determined by issuance of driver's license. More info on residency can be found on the Department's website here: http://www.outdooralabama.com/residency

You cannot sell a hunting/fishing license over the phone
If the customer wants to purchase a license over the phone, he needs to call 1-888-848-6887. Additional fees apply.
