Customers will call after receiving their denied certificate of standing wanting to know why.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Inform the customer that the certificates of good standing are processed and approved/denied by the Alabama Department of Revenue Business Privilege Tax Division.
  2. To best assist the customer to get an explanation or find out what needs to be done in order to be in good standing, they will need to call the Alabama Department of Revenue at 334-242-9800.
