Step-by-step guide

Follow these instructions to purchase a crash report.

1. Go to to www.alea.gov. 
2. In the Citizen Information section, click, I Need To
3. Select Order a Vehicle Crash Report. (see screenshot)

4. Once on the site to purchase a vehicle crash report, complete these steps:
   
   1. Agree to the above Federal Driver Privacy Protection Act statement above.on the page. (select the checkbox)
   2. Enter your contact information, used in the event there is a problem with your order.
   3. Enter the search criteria for your request (Driver's License, Driver's Name, or Crash Report Number).
   4. Select the correct Crash Report from the list of search results.
   5. Verify that the information is correct before purchasing.
   6. Enter your credit card information to complete the purchase.

   7. Click the "Printable Crash Report" button  button at the top of the receipt confirmation page. This page is displayed after you enter your credit card information.
